Overhead crane also called bridge crane or electric overhead travelling crane(EOT Crane).Usually used in the workshop ,warehouse and yard over the material lifting hoisting equipment to lift some material.It can be classificated: double girder and single girder overhead crane.According to its function also can be classficated:Grab bucket overhead crane,Electronic magnetic overhead crane,Suspend type overhead crane,Casting overhead crane.

This kind of crane is mainly used in lifting using explosive gas environment, its basic structure is similar to ordinary overhead crane. But in the electrical and electrical parts and mechanical parts of the metal contact surface explosion protection measures,to ensure the safety of explosion-proof environment use.Explosion-proof bridge crane according to the explosion categories can be divided into two kinds: Coal mine explosion-proof overhead crane and Factories use explosion-proof overhead crane.
Coal mine explosion-proof overhead crane mainly used in coal mines on the ground and underground mining surface parts, the crane should have coal mine security certificate (MA).
Factory use explosion-proof overhead crane mainly used in a flammable mixture with combustible gas or dangerous important places, such as the crane should be issued by the national testing center of flame-proof certification.
This kind of Overhead crane is composed of Girder frame, Crane travelling device, and trolley as the lifting device. Rail is paved for the trolley move on the main girder. Assemble the moving table on the outside of the two main girder, one side is prepared for assembling and maintenance of crane move device, another side is prepare for assembling of the trolley electric conductor device.
